Cookie Policy

The short version

As this site stands today it sets no cookies at all. It writes two values to your browser's own local storage, each remembering an answer you gave. Everything that could measure your visit is switched off until you say otherwise, and stays off if you say no.

The two storage keys

gn_age_ok	Written when you answer "Yes, I am 18 or over" on the home page. Value: 1. Purpose: not asking you again on that device. Lives in local storage, so it has no expiry date and is removed when you clear site data.
gn_consent	Written when you press Accept or Decline on the cookie bar. Value: granted or denied. Purpose: remembering the choice so the bar stops appearing, and applying it on every later page. Also local storage, also cleared with site data.

Neither value is sent to us or to anyone else, and only the site's own script on your device reads them. If storage is blocked, the site keeps working and asks again.

What Consent Mode v2 does here

Every page carries a few lines of script in the head, before anything else is allowed to run. Those lines set the Google consent signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage to denied, with a short wait so that nothing can slip in ahead of your answer.

Accepting sends an update that switches those four signals to granted. Declining sends an update that confirms all four as denied, set explicitly. The choice is stored in gn_consent and applied again on the next page you open.

What a measurement tag would set, if one is added

No Google tag is loaded on this site at present. If the hotel adds Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads measurement later, it will load only after Accept, and these are the cookies it would then set:

_ga	Google Analytics. Distinguishes one browser from another. Typically two years.
_ga_<id>	Google Analytics 4 session state for this property. Typically two years.
_gid	Google Analytics. Distinguishes browsers over a short window. 24 hours.
_gcl_au	Google Ads conversion measurement. Around 90 days.

This page will be updated with the real list on the day any such tag goes live, and the review date above will change with it.

What is never used here

• No social network pixels. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn tracking code is absent from every page.
• No device fingerprinting, canvas probing or similar identification by the back door.
• No advertising network beyond the Google measurement described above, and none of it without consent.
• No third-party fonts, maps, videos or widgets. Everything on these pages is served from this domain, so no other company sees your visit.

Changing your mind

Every page has a Cookie settings control in the footer. Pressing it brings the bar back so you can choose again, and the new answer replaces the old one immediately.

Blocking it in the browser instead

You do not have to take our word for any of this. All current browsers let you block cookies and site data per site or in general, usually under Settings, then Privacy, then Cookies and site data. The same screens let you delete what a site has already stored. Doing so on this site removes the two keys above, after which the age question and the cookie bar both appear again and the site works as before.
